Fair Events...

These are the fair events.  If you are in the royalty you have to be to all of these events.  The fair usually lets us know which events they like you to judge, but you should be attending all of them regardless.  SO...tentatively have these in the back of your mind in case you place in the royalty!  Thanks!  Its super fun, just ask Aimee...

 Ok so some of it is pretty tiring, but lets be honest, Aimee can fall asleep anywhere any place....and don't forget the watermellon that she and Crystal won on the donkey races :)


SATURDAY, AUG 13
Miss Rodeo: Iron County Fairgrounds 11:00 a.m.
Miss Iron County Pageant: Canyon View High School, 7 p.m.
SATURDAY, AUG 20
Mud Bog: Grandstands, 7 p.m. ($6 Adults, $3 Children)
SATURDAY, AUG 27
ATV Ride: Valentine Peak Complex, 8:00 am
Trail Ride: IC Fairgrounds, 9 am
Demolition Derby: Grandstands, 7 p.m. ($6 Adults, $3 Children)
TUESDAY, Aug 30
Enter exhibits (except crops, flowers, baked goods, candy), IC Fair Building, 1:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Horse Race signup: IC Fairgrounds Gazebo, 6 p.m.
WEDNESDAY, Aug 31
Enter baked goods & candy: IC Fair Building, 8 to 10 a.m. (Judging starts at 10 a.m.)
THURSDAY, SEP 1
Enter crops, flowers: IC Fair Building 7 to 10 a.m. (Judging starts at 11 a.m.)
Exhibits closed for judging: 10 a.m.
Carnival opens: 4 p.m.
Little Buckaroo Junior Rodeo: Grandstands, 6 p.m. ($5 Adults, $3 Children)
FRIDAY, SEP 2
Exhibits: Noon to 10 p.m. Concessions: 3 p.m. to midnight
Carnival: 4 p.m. to midnight
Petting Zoo: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Entertainment Tent: 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Contest Tent: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Broken Heart Rodeo: Grandstands, 7 p.m. ($6 Adults, $3 Children, SUU students $5)
Dance: Entertainment tent, 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. (music by Eric Dodge)

Tractor Caravan-Cedar to Parowan - through the Gap: 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
Tractor Show-Parowan Lion’s Park: 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm
Cedar City Radio Control Club Flight Demonstration: Valentine Peak Complex 10:00 a.m.
Baby Contest: Theme: I’m in the Army Now - Entertainment Tent, 10:00 a.m. with sign up at 9:30 a.m.
Exhibits: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Carnival & Concessions: 10 a.m. to midnight
Entertainment Tent: Noon to 7 p.m.
