Lifestyle and Fitness

The Lifestyle and Fitness "Swimsuit" competition is designed to see how well the contestant maintains a figure that reflects good physical fitness and health, to assess confidence, and to see if the swimsuit and the young woman complement each other while on stage.  It is a fast-paced modern segment of competition and will be conducted on-stage during the evening production. Swimsuits must be made of a stretch-type material and may be either one or two piece.  Please use good taste when selecting your swimwear.  Stay away from extremely tight-fitting suits, string bikinis (You must have at least 2 inches of fabric everywhere), and make sure that the style of the suit you choose complements your body frame.  Skirted suits, or suits with fringe and wraps are not allowed.  A predominantly one-color suit is generally more appealing on-stage.  Final determination of what is allowed will be made by the pageant director(s).  The use of “oil” or nylons for swimsuit competition is prohibited, but baby lotion may be used to enhance your skin tone.  Shoes MUST be worn for swimsuit competition.  If a contestant chooses to use padding to enhance her appearance within the confines of good taste, she may do so.  No one will question the addition of padding in any phase of competition.  Your time on stage is short so make sure you use every second to show off your confidence and presence.  Scoring, 15%
