OK ladies...lets begin!  I have officially updated all the documents pertaining to this year, read over them so that you are aware of dates, times, and conflicts if any.  Please let me know well ahead of any conflicts that you may have so that we can work it out.  If you have any questions, contact me anytime.  My information is above, you are more than welcome to call or stop by.  IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT RUNNING THIS YEAR, PLEASE LEAVE YOUR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION IN THE COMMENT BOX BELOW.  I know that I've spoken to a few of you, but I am claiming post pregnant brain and need some reminding.  If you are uncomfortable leaving your phone number here, either contact me and give it to me that way OR leave your email address.  Please for the love of everything that is holy....check this blog often.  These dates are pretty new, I haven't ironed out every single one of the details yet and if anything changes I will post here first and it is your responsibility to check it daily.  Again I am always available for questions and concerns.  I am so dang excited!!!!!  Its gonna be a great year!

If any of you know Aimee, you know how incredibly hard it is for her to act natural in front of a camera, just not her thing.  So
(and again thanks Emily for capturing this....in ALL of my 4 days before I delivered Sam glory!) I'm trying to coax her into showing some leg and how to manipulate those long legs....it was so awkward with my manitee body, but I love this shot with Aimee

Open Pageant in Cedar City set for February!

Hello Ladies,


We are getting ready for our first contestant meeting for Miss Southern Utah and I want to extend to you all a personal invitation to compete for the title. The first meeting is on November 16th at 8:00 pm, held at Gravity Dance Studio in Cedar City, Utah

The pageant will be held on February 26th with a dress rehearsal the night before on the 25th.  I'm extremely excited about this year. I've been able to form a committee of talented people and now I just need all of you to make up all of our talented contestants! Remember the Miss Southern Utah is an open pageant - so any girl who falls within the basic Miss Utah/Miss America standards can compete for the title. Please feel free to share this information with others and invite them to the meeting. This year was exceptionally stellar! I was more than impressed with each and every one of you.

Delaney our outgoing Queen did not disappoint

...and the dance with her father Judge Mike Westfall was a  personal highlight of mine.  I'm pretty sure I was doing the JIG when the rose petals fell.  So awesome!

Our last year's queen Erika Hansen, currently Miss Southern Utah reminded us why she deserves a spot in the Miss Iron County legacy

....Another highlight of mine was the sillouette of Kaylee and my dad Michael right before evening gown.....ahhhh so cute!

And how awesome was our MC??  We might have to make a tradition of inviting Kari back!  She was amazing!

Its so hard to watch each and every one of you work and grow, only to have one person know how well they really did.  There were so many of you that were mentioned after while conversing with the judges and they were beyond impressed with Iron County's quality of women.  Thank you girls...thank you for making it an amazing year.  You girls more than shined for us.  So proud.

My Aimee has worked so hard and I'm more than proud of her.  She is a perfect example of coming back after hard work and tons of preparation and prove herself.  Great Job. Miss Utah here we come!

2010 Fair

Ha ha ha!!!  This is probably an accurate description of the fair for the royalty!  Although super fun, long days! 

Cute girls.  You all did such a good job.  I am so proud of this years royalty with the feedback I'm already getting.  Good job girls!
