Erika currently resides in Cedar City, Utah where she attends Southern Utah University. She is a senior biology major with an emphasis in medicine. Erika will be applying to Physician's Assistant school in May where she will eventually earn her Ph.D. Erika has been involved in the pageant world since she was 19. She has had the opportunity to be Miss Iron County in 2008 and Miss Southern Utah in 2010. Erika finished 3rd attendant in the Miss Utah pageant and also received the Quality of Life award for the best platform. Erika focuses her service on children who have been the victim of child sexual abuse. She is a Certified Steward of Children which had helped her prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. She has created two three-step programs for children and adults in case they ever face the ugly head of child sex abuse and are unaware of what steps to take. Erika is a strong advocate for victims and will always be. In her spare time Erika stays busy dancing, working out, snowboarding, bowling and spending quality time with family and friends.
